Sorry I missed this post yesterday, J. I was having a bad day and took myself off to bed very early. These are gorgeous flowers – very unusual. What are they called, please? I don’t think we have those over here.

Hi Ellie, How are you? I’ve been so busy but I am ok, little tired and looking forward to the weekend. The flowers in this picture are the beautiful yellow flowers the bees were enjoying some weeks ago. The yellow flowers fall down leaving behind these beautiful pink pods full of seeds. The seeds are small and round and bird love them. The pink pods will slowly dry and fall out, like paper. It nice and messy at the same time. I hope you are having a better day today, I loved your last poem, it was beautiful and emotional as always. Take care!

I’m glad you’re okay, albeit very busy with your new job. I can imagine it must be pretty time-consuming. Only three days to go until the weekend. Those flowers are amazing. The pink pods remind me a flower we have over here. They’re called Physalis (not sure if the spelling is right). They have papery pods but they are, I believe, an orange colour and they contain the edible fruit (a circular orange ball). Thank you for liking my last poem. I’m not sure whether that was the one I wrote yesterday, or a couple of days before that. Thanks again. Xx 🌹💛
