Relax! Let your eyes wander and quiet your mind with some visual therapy. A picture is always more than you can see. You will also find my own illustrations, animations and sometimes short stories. You never know what you will find so make sure to come back.
How lovely, J. It’s nice to have a breeze when we’ve had so much hot weather, although it’s not here at the moment. This morning, it was pouring and chilly. I saw my doctor at 11 am – she was lovely and very understanding. She’s going to phone me Monday week to see how I am. I’m fortunate with my doctor’s surgery – they are one of the better ones, which I’m very grateful for. It’s stopped raining now, but it is still a bit cold. I feel the cold, too. I’m wearing three tops and two pairs of socks. That’s nothing compared to what I wear in the winter when I can’t afford to have the heating on because of all the price rises. How are you today? Xx 💟
Hi Ellie,
I hope you have some cozy sweaters to keep you warm. We’ve had a few days of cooler weather but not really cool, maybe instead of 90 F we have 80 F. I am looking forward to fall, best weather. Winter is not bad also, it gets cold, I live in N Florida but not super cold. We do get some low temps but I don’t mind bundling up and sitting in the sun. We do not get snow at all. I have a few projects around the yard and I am looking forward to spending some time outside. I have a bunch of plants blooming and it is amazing. I’ve had a Bird of Paradise plant for years now and it never bloomed until now. I am so excited and you can be sure I will take lots of pictures and share 🙂 I hope you have a nice evening and Peanut keeps you warm 🙂
I do have quite a lot of warm jumpers, which I wear over long-sleeved t-shirts in the winter, often with a scarf, too. I wear tights under jeans or leggings, two pairs of socks and some fingerless gloves so that I can still type. I’d be completely lost if I couldn’t write. I still get cold hands, though. It would be lovely to be able to afford to have the heating on in the winter. I’m rather dreading it this year – the bathroom is freezing and makes showering really unpleasant. Today, it’s been about 15C here, which I looked up, and that’s about 59F. Tonight, it’s dropping down to 5C, which is only 41F – pretty cold. I’ll cuddle up with Peanut tonight, definitely.
I’ve never seen a Bird of Paradise plant – I’ll be looking forward to seeing your photos of it when it flowers. You grow some lovely plants over there. I guess the warmer climate helps.
I hope you enjoy your evening when you reach it, too. Take care Xx 💟
