The week is certainly flying by, J. I’ve been much busier than usual this week, so it definitely feels that way to me, too. I think kindness is so, so important. Without it, the world would be a very hostile and miserable place. I love the new way you’ve arranged your posts, by the way. It works brilliantly. How are you today? I’m fine – I went out to a new supermarket this morning and found some unusual buys and bargains. Plus, the sun is shining here, too, making it a lovely day. I’m hoping they’ll be sunshine tomorrow as I’m meeting all my family for a pre-birthday get-together. I’m so looking forward to it 😀. Xx 🦢😘

What goodies did you find at the supermarket ? I am always curious, I love food 🙂 My day has been a little busy but I had a promising interview with a follow up tomorrow , so I have a good feeling about it. I have been without a job for a month and a half, it has been nice, I needed a break. It stormed this afternoon. Lots of thunder and lighting , my poor older dog always hides in the closet. I hope you have a great time with your family 🙂

Hi J. The supermarket was a lot bigger than my usual one so it took me ages to get around it all. It was good to see so many different choices. I got some vegan 🌱 bacon 🥓, some Oreo cookies 🍪, also vegan, a butternut squash as I can’t get them locally. I like them stuffed, and finally, I got myself a birthday 🥳 cake 🎂 to take to share at the garden project next Tuesday. Then, I had time to get a coffee ☕️ and piece of vegan rocky road cake 🍰 in the in-store Costa café, and sat and read my book 📖 which was lovely. I managed to catch up with reading some blogs this afternoon and phoned my daughter.
I’m so glad your interview went so well. I’ll keep my fingers crossed 🤞 that you’re successful in getting that job. You’ll be busy when you’re working again and trying to keep up with your blog, too.
I really feel for your dog 🐕 in the thunderstorm ⛈. Peanut doesn’t like them either. I’m not keen either.
I’m so looking forward to seeing my family again tomorrow. I’ve not seen my daughter for a year or my sister for two years. I might write a post about my day when I get time. It’ll make a change from people having to read my serious and depressing poems! I’ll have to see how I feel on Friday as I doubt I’ll have much time to write when I get back. Hope you have a good night’s sleep 😴. I’m in bed, writing this on my phone. Have to be up very early in the morning for the journey. Xx 🦢🌹😘
