  1. What a stunning rainbow! You’ve captured the image perfectly, J. We had a little rain here this morning but so little that it was barely noticeable. It certainly hasn’t helped the garden at all. I’ve been out at a garden project I attend on Tuesdays today. It’s always lovely to be there. There are some raised beds and a raised pond so that I can participate in the planting, growing and deadheading when the flowers have gone over. Tomorrow, I am even busier and will be out most of the day. That means I’ll be even more behind with reading blogs than I am already. I never seem to catch up. How are you today? X 🌞🐾😘

    1. Hi Ellie! I am glad to hear you are gardening again. What a great way to connect with nature and relax. When we first moved into this area I noticed a community garden sign and was so excited about being a part of it. I grew my own veggies for years, small container stuff. I was planning on taking some of my little seedlings and join the community garden but they closed. I was sad. I later found out the land was purchased and now there’s a huge grocery store there. We had some afternoon showers lately and yesterday we also got a rainbow I was lucky to capture. Don’t worry about getting behind on reading blogs, just think of it as this awesome desert that is waiting for you at the end of the day when you are ready to relax, something to look forward to. I hope you have a great day gardening and maybe if you get a chance you can snap some pictures so we can check it out πŸ™‚

      1. How awful about your community garden being closed – and just for, no doubt, yet another supermarket. Here, too, they destroy green spaces to build offices, apartments and shops even when half the shops are empty. I live in a medium-sized city but it’s getting very overcrowded because they keep building houses and flats but no roads to take all the extra traffic from the people that move into the area. It’s madness.

I was at the garden project today. I didn’t think to take photos, although I have many on my iPhone’s camera already. I just haven’t got time to write another post about gardening at the moment. I will bear it in mind for the future, though. Unfortunately, there is no way of sending photos to you in comments, which is a shame. I’ve often thought that, but it seems that WP doesn’t host that facility.

I will try to take your advice about keeping up with blogs. I follow so many of them, I hardly have time to breathe in my efforts to keep up. I always read yours as soon as I see them come out as they’re such a refreshing change. I really enjoy them and I’m glad that we have become friends on this platform, too. X πŸŒžπŸˆπŸ’›

      2. Thank you Ellie πŸ™‚ I am lucky to have met such a wonderful person like you πŸ™‚ It makes me happy you enjoy my blog. I always look for simplicity, there are plenty of complicated things in life we cannot change. Have a great evening !
