Hello, J. How are you today? I hope you are well and enjoying your garden. You can probably guess what I’m going to ask you! What type of bird is this, please? I’m forever curious and will probably always stay that way. They say, ‘curiosity killed the cat’ but I hope not in my case 😹. I had to do a double-take at first to see if the coffee cup was real, but then, decided it wasn’t. Am I correct? Or mistaken? X 🌞💕

Hi Ellie 😁 how’s your day going? The beautiful specimen is a Northern Mockingbird. They are very active in the morning, always ready to go. I am doing well, it rained yesterday so I do not have to water the plants, so I get to relax and enjoy the sunny day, kind of hot so staying in the shade helps. How’s Peanut? ☺️

Thanks for telling me what bird that is. I’ve never heard of that one. I’m glad you’re able to have a relatively easy day today. Watering the plants is a bit of a chore sometimes, although I don’t have anything to water in my garden, only grass, which either gets baked dry or saturated when it rains. Peanut is fine, thank you. I’ve got an electrician here at the moment, and she’s fascinated by all the wires and cables laying about. Fortunately, they’re not connected to the electricity right now, so no fried cat, thankfully! I’m okay, thanks; still trying to catch up with reading blogs. I got so behind yesterday as I took a long time to write and publish my poem. Hope you have a good rest of your day. X 🌞💕
