What a stunning flower. I agree it would make a good dress design. We have Chinese Lanterns in the UK, but they are a different type of flower to that one. We also call them Physalis. They have an orange papery skin on the outside with an edible orange berry inside. I think, somehow, they must be a related species. X 🏵🌞

You can put them in a fruit salad or eat them on their own like a snack. I’m not sure whether the ones you have are edible, though. X 😊
